Green Castings manufacturing is an objective that must be supported by excellent science and adopted by all foundries/industries with a view to reducing the environmental impact of product and production processes. With increasingly stringent environmental regulations, there is a growing need for efficient production planning models that consider the trade-off between technology return and environmental costs.
One of the key ideas of NetCastPL4.0 is knowledge exchange. Through the Knowledge Exchange Pillar actions, experts and partners reinforce human capital through training and cross-fertilization, implement skills and enhance the know-how, as well as create new professional skills. The 2025 school focuses on ‘Mechanics, metallurgy and green processing of lightweight castings’. The three-day school deals with the following topics
- Fundamentals and ideas
- Production processes
- Utilization
Experts from the project partners and the wider network welcome you to the event.
