The second edition of the School has concluded
On 25–26 June 2026, the School on Perspective & Business took place at the Faculty of Foundry Engineering, AGH University of Krakow. The event was organised by AGH University of Krakow, CNR-ICMATE, and Aalto University within the NetCastPL4.0 project.
The two-day school was dedicated to researchers and experts representing the Network Partners.
The programme covered the following topics:

• Future Horizons – Innovation, Business & Research Pathways.

In addition to lectures and presentations of modern technological solutions, the event included a panel discussion on the future of the foundry industry in Poland and abroad. The discussion addressed current challenges facing the sector, including increasingly stringent regulations and the use of modern tools in industry.
The School brought together more than 80 participants from 24 institutions, representing both academia and industry. Event constituted one of the key activities of the project, supporting knowledge transfer through training sessions and the exchange of experience, with the aim of strengthening the human capital of the Network Partners.
