Project Partners Meeting at Aalto University in Finland

From 25 to 27 May 2026, the Project Partners Meeting was held in Espoo, Finland. During the meeting, participants reviewed the current status and progress of the project, discussed the implementation of international secondments, and planned upcoming activities, including the School on Perspective & Business and the Workshop on Castings foundry of the future.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views with the External Advisory Board, whose members identified future research priorities, particularly in the areas of the circular economy and critical raw materials.

The partners also highlighted the dynamic growth of the Network Partners community, which currently includes 35 organisations representing companies, universities and research institutions from several countries. They also noted the increasing number of scientific publications available in Open Access through the project’s e-library.
During the meeting, participants took part in training sessions covering Open Science, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) policies, technology transfer, and the management and commercialisation of research results.

In addition, participants had the opportunity to explore the facilities of Aalto University, visiting the campus, the Materials Testing Laboratory, and the Aalto Design Factory.
