Open Forum Jan 13, 2025: Working with a gender perspective – Taking a gender aware approach to research & teaching

Why do we need to work with a gender perspective on research and teaching? And why it is important to reflect on the intersectionality of the authors we quote, participants we invite to our studies, students we work with and audiences we disseminate our outcomes?

The Open Forum, which took place on 13 January proved how to learn more about the approach to include a gender perspective when working in science.

In this Open Forum, Natasza Kosakowska-Bezrezecka and Magdalena Żadkowska from the University of Gdańsk shared their expertise on working with a gender perspective in research and teaching. They presented the key take-aways from our policy briefs Teaching with gender in mind and Research through a gender lens. During the Open Forum, there was opportunity to ask questions to the speakers.

A gender perspective is very important from the NetCastPL4.0 project perspective and we were happy to have the opportunity to join this event!
