NetCastPL4.0 co-organizer of DISCUSSION PANEL “Lightweight innovations” and COFFEE with NetCastPL4.0 within ICCME 25!

Within V International Conference of Casting and Materials Engineering (ICCME 25) which took place on October 27-28, 2025 in Krakow NetCastPL4.0 project co-organized DISCUSSION PANEL “Lightweight innovations” (October 27, 2025) and COFFEE with NetCastPL4.0 (October 28, 2025).

The Panel took place on October 27, 2025, and was moderated by Marcin Górny (AGH University of Krakow, Poland) and Kalle Jalava (Aalto University, Finland). The invited panelists were Susana Méndez (Azterlan, Spain), Rafał Dańko (AGH University of Krakow, Poland), Jerzy J. Sobczak (AGH University of Krakow, Poland), G. Angella (CNR-ICMATE, Italy), Michał Łuszczak (Nemak Poland) and Robert Michael Purgert (Thompson Aluminum Casting, US).

Both educational and industrial advantages and threats connected with lightweight innovations were discussed.

COFFEE with NetCastPL4.0 Project was organized in between Conference Students Sessions on October 28, 2025. The aim of the event was to disseminate knowledge about the project among students, doctoral students, and young scientists.

The ICCME 25 Conference gathered around 100 participants!
