Research organisations across Europe are increasingly called upon to promote not only scientific excellence, but also ethical integrity, equality, inclusion and well-being within their academic and research communities. While national regulations and institutional structures may differ, many of the challenges related to research ethics, academic integrity, gender equality, discrimination prevention and organisational culture are shared across countries and organisations. The seminar brings together experiences from Dr Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași and Dr Rosaria A. Puglisi National Research Council of Italy (CNR) to encourage dialogue and mutual learning on these important themes.
The event aims to create an opportunity for exchanging knowledge, policies, tools and good practices developed in different institutional contexts, with particular attention to research ethics, academic integrity, gender equality, inclusion and the prevention of discrimination and harassment. Through the sharing of experiences and perspectives, participants will be invited to reflect on common challenges and explore how European research institutions can learn from one another in building safer, more inclusive and ethically responsible research environments.
