NetCastPL4.0 in China – Prof. Marcin Górny honored with First Prize for presentation of Best Scientific Paper at 75th World Foundry Congress!

From October 25-30, 2024, the 75th World Foundry Congress took place in Deyang, China. This premier global event in the foundry industry attracted nearly 1,500 participants from across the globe, centered around the theme ‘DEVELOPING FOUNDRY.’ During the congress, the prestigious Best Scientific Award was presented to 10 outstanding researchers who have significantly advanced casting science. We are pleased to announce that among the awardees was Prof. Marcin Górny, who received the First Prize for presenting the Best Scientific Paper at the 75th World Foundry Congress. His paper, titled ‘Insights into Carbides in Cast Iron,’ was co-authored by M. Kawalec, J. Marosz, and M. Bork from AGH University of Krakow, as well as G. Angella from ICMATE, Italy.
