Monica Favaro is a Research Director at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche- Istituto di Chimica della Materia Condensata e di Tecnologie per l’Energia -Italy (CNR ICMATE). She has more than 15 years’ research experience on materials science for applications in energy technologies and building materials sector. As funding programme expert, she supports to national and international large companies and SMEs to identify suitable R&I programmes to innovate their products and processes. She has led and is currently managing several international and EU projects with a strong participation of non-academic partners, focused on sustainable technologies for energy production, management and storage, environmental monitoring and green foundries.
Additionally, she is currently active in the implementation of gender, diversity and inclusion policies.
