Heat-Treat 2025 Conference (Detroit, USA)

The prestigious Heat-Treat 2025 conference, organized by the ASM International Heat Treating Society (HTS) in cooperation with the International Federation for Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering (IFHTSE), was held in Detroit, USA, on October 22–24, 2025. The event focused on the latest advancements in the heat treatment of metallic materials and cast components.

Representatives of the NetCastPL4.0 project actively participated in the conference, presenting recent research results. Prof. Marcin Górny delivered a presentation entitled “Thermal Stability and Section Sensitivity of Ni and Cu Alloyed Austempered Ductile Iron”, while Jan Marosz presented “The Impact of Heat Treatment on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Si-Mo Cast Iron.” Both talks attracted significant interest and contributed to enhancing the international visibility of the NetCastPL4.0 project.
