Meeting of the Social Council of the Faculty of Foundry Engineering AGH

On October 07, 2025, the meeting of the Social Council of the Faculty of Foundry Engineering AGH for the 2024-2028 term was held at the headquarters of the Faculty of Foundry Engineering in Krakow.

The Social Council functioning at the Faculty of Foundry Engineering is a collegial advisory body, working to develop cooperation between the FFE and external business entities and organizations. It brings together representatives of leading entities that are leaders in the foundry market. The Council plays a special role in cooperation and exchange of experience. The main focus of its activities is to adapt the scope of knowledge, skills and social competence of the Faculty’s graduates to the needs and requirements of employers, as well as to develop the Faculty’s cooperation with entities from its environment in the field of research and development.

During the meeting Members of the Social Council discussed current issues concerning the activities of the Faculty of Foundry Engineering and the situation of the current foundry industry in Poland. The possibility of networking within the framework of the European project NetCastPL4.0 was also mentioned, with the announcement of the project scientific panel during the V International Conference of Casting and Materials Engineering ICCME 25 (iccme.agh.edu.pl).
