1st NetCastPL4.0 Convention for sharing best practices on Open Access – FROM FIELDWORK TO FAIR: PRACTICAL STRATEGIES FOR OPEN AND REPRODUCIBLE RESEARCH

Online event which took place on April 11, 2025.

Ensuring that research is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) is a key principle of Open Science, but how can researchers integrate these principles effectively into their daily work? This talk will explore practical approaches and tools available at AGH University of Krakow, CNR National Research Council of Italy and Aalto University to facilitate FAIR research while doing research, demonstrating that making research FAIR does not have to be an extra duty but can instead become a natural part of the research workflow.

The speakers were:

Stanisław Skórka (AGH University of Krakow)

Director of the Main Library of the AGH University of Krakow and Assistant Professor at the Institute of Information Science, University of the National Education Commission, Krakow; specializes in the subject of information architecture in the management of information resources and acts as an Open Access Officer within AGH Open Science Team.

Taija Tuoresjärvi & Lucie Hradecká (Aalto University)
